I was out flying the other day, and I happened to look over my shoulder at the stabilator and it was vibrating. I could most easily tell the tips of the stabilator was vibrating. I was in smooth air at about 155 KTAS, straight and level. Is that normal? I cant say I have ever looked over my shoulder in flight before. The tail connections are all tight as they should be. |

No! Do not fly that plane until you research it. Look at your weights. Check the tightness of all of your bushings in the pitch control. Cubes |

My first thought is to verify the counterweight is installed on/in the tail and the spar doubler is installed. I find it hard to believe that safety bulletin would not be complied with a LONG time ago. But it is worth the check for the cost of drilling out one or two rivets! |

Feeling moved to chime in and emphasize -- PLEEEEEZE no further flight until this is diagnosed and fixed. Not even once around the patch. Stay on the ground. We don't want to read ABOUT you, we want to read something FROM you telling us what you found and how you fixed it. Thank you. |

A bad wing to fuselage seal can cause a tail vibration. |
