Congratulations Scott Stein for winning the Grand Champion Plans built aircraft at EAA Oshkosh 2026! Super build and beautiful aircraft. The moment I saw it I knew it was winning an award, I just didn't know which one. And it took Top Dog Grand Champion. I hope after years of building the reward of a beautiful Thorp T18 will serve you well in the future. The fact that it won Grand Champion is icing on the cake and proof of all the perseverance and effort that went into making this beautiful bird has paid off! I hope a future featured article in Sport Aviation will bring momentum to the Thorp and interest many future builders to the wonders of these great planes! Congratulations and job well done! |
