Here's a great story I heard from T-18 Builder, Gus Gordon. Gus was always great about helping other guys build or repair their Thorps in the Southern California area.

Gus got a call from someone on the other side of the country years back. The guy was doing a repair on a T-18 wing. When the guy opened up one of the wing panels he was surprised to read
" IF YOU ARE READING THIS . . . YOU F*CKED UP!! " The caller was just letting Gus know he got a big laugh out of that.

Gus wrote that years prior when helping somebody re-skin the wing. Even Indian Jones would have laughed at that one.

Gus is my Hero ! I got the Idea to build my S-18 from his article . I also got the idea for my trailer from his pics ! I have not seen his AC at a fly in since (PTV) 2011 ?
