I know Bro ! I probably have more room time next to an elevator and ice machine than most pilots have flight hours ! ??? Just wanted to put a smile on your face ! :)

After the last couple days, that did. Sheesh, will this winter flow ever end? I flew from Philly to Vegas yesterday against 100 mph in the face. Almost 6 hours airborne.

During my probation period I flew jump seat from CLT to LAX to SAN . Same AC . The 737-300 had 2 jump seats and I got the one behind the Captain's seat ! Full AC and Winter head winds . After 5.5 hours all the heads were full and over flowing down the isles ! Still had 1 hour to go until LAX . Entire time we were trapped in the Cockpit except for the brief bladder drain . No food . Only few cups of coffee and a handful of crackers for the flight deck ! The good News was I got to stay on the same AC and jump seat to SAN from LAX . Not sure what scheduling was thinking sending a 737 West bound ?

Cant do that ,our fans would flog the airport an cause mayham, we are going to try to sneak in going un-noticed by the Media and local officials. The last time the KVIS Thorp Air Command wing went on an outing ALL of or fans showed up, Local Sherriffs, Police, FBI,CIA, Border Patrol, Tobacco and Firearms they were all there to greet us and it caused quite a stir, they wanted to take our pictures and made us paint the end of our fingers black and then made us wipe it right back off again with this little paper towel(total waste of trees) then they muttered something about American Renegades, aw well. Funny thing though, we outran there little helicopter that tried to follow us home, Good bunch of fellas..........Dan

Some of the best air to air video , minus the Hollywood input . The A-4 (Scooter) was my favorite AC . Roll rate was 720 degrees per second with no hydraulic assist . In fact all the flight controls were "fly by wire !" All cables and pulleys . A McDonald Douglas design . Keep the maint. simple in the field and on the ship .

Too bad Tom didn't know he was making little Tom Cats with a switch hitter !

RB :)
