Thorp Air Command - T18.net

I just thought I would post these because I was a little bored this afternoon. As you can tell from the first try, I quickly decided I should be attempting a smaller sized bulkhead so I didn't waste so much material. The first pic is an overall shot of the progression of work. The first bulkhead I tried is on the right side of the photo and the last is on the far left. I don't consider any of these airworthy, but at least I did improve. I'm going back to flying!

What's wrong with that last one? They look great and would serve their purpose. The inside flange does not need to be bent that far. But they look great!

I appreciate the input. Whenever I'm crawling, laying, or contorting myself into an inspection position, I'll give a little more thought to the metal that I am laying on, and how it was made.....and what I would have to go through to replace it!

I appreciate it Dan. I don't know if I'll do anymore. I just got the wild hair to attempt to make one these bulkheads a few months back. Then, when it came out so very poorly, I had to keep trying until I made one somewhat close to right.
