1. The Ginn's are going to have ramp refreshments and snacks for us .

2. Friday the plan is to have dinner in town at a soon TBD location . One location under consideration is Bubas Pizza Buffett and all you can eat Chinese food .

3. Saturday the 18th at 1200 hours we are going to have a luncheon for Ken Knowles in town .

I will have a printed Itinerary for the daily events available upon arrival at Sedona .

Mr. Lou...here is the schedule (subject to change) for Sat.

1. Sleep in as late as you like .
2. Graze the flight line until lunch . We will all mount up in vehicles about 1130/1145 to head to the http://www.Goldengoosecafe.com for a lunch for Ken Knowles . After lunch back to the Lodge or stay in town with someone that has a vehicle and shop and sightsee ?
3. Around 1630 load up in the "A Day in the West vehicle(s) for a short trip back to town to pay for your individual tour and then begin the Jeep Thingy Tour . RTB back to the lodge around 1900 . Freshin up and then muster for dinner at the Mesa Grill around 1930 hours ? Bar then dinner at the groups discretion .

Friday is pretty flexible .

1. Arrivals and parking then refreshments courtesy of the Ginns.
2. Those that want to have lunch can go to the Mesa Grill or we can do a one shot shuttle to town for "Fast Food" or ?
3. Dinner location is still in the works....

Sunday you are on your own . As a reminder we have to pay full price for ramp fees ($10/nite) , but we get 37 cents off the fuel truck . Tell the fuel guy that when you pay him your tie down fees .

Right now I have nothing built into the schedule that involves flying . That could change ?

Dixie Fried Aviation is emotionally ambivalent in sponsoring the inaugural, first and probably only annual CRATER DASH 15! WOOOOOOOOOOH (dash for the gash) 8)
One lap to the meteor crater and back. Winner receives an all-expense paid trip to the Rockies (you get one Coors lite)

Start time: Saturday morning, early enough to be back for the pink jeep thingy or it”ll be my ass.

Aprox. 90NM round trip

Sure wish I could make it to Sedona but the weather betwixt here and yon is 100 percent not my type of flying. Used to fly up to Sedona for lunch after church, about a 50 min flight from Tucson. It is a beautiful place.

Cubes, I have been flying for 62 years and I have done a little scud running in my time but the older I get the more conservative I get. Last October I and three others flew to KY Dam and all four of us had to drive home and come back a week later to get our planes. I like blue sky and a good forecast. It's so bad here that I won't even be able to go to S&F!

WOOP :))

Sounds like a race (photo opp)
Hey Bruce how much do you need?

Steve you'll be missed but you, and war bird news are giving me an idea. At Marana AP, just north of Tucson they are prepping for fight a Constellation, out on the ramp. I'm thinking about swinging by for a look Sunday on the way home.

Well, sadly, I must forego this gaggle of guffaws.....work changes, shower remodels, and an occasionally recurring radio bugaboo seem to be taking up too much time, but need to all be resolved before socializing. On the upside, Rich is sure to win "Prettiest Aviator" in my absence.

Enjoy all...and be safe.....I'll be thinking about you all for the the entire weekend and will be checking often for the inevitable photos of inebriated aviators in compromising positions....CHEERS!!
