I'd love to be there but duties at home won't permit it. Got my hands full with Maxine. She got out of the hospital this morning but still needs help getting around.

The weather forecast for LYH is less than perfect over the next few days. Thoughts?

Scott, I'm still thonking positive and planning on coming up Friday morning, getting there about noon. Will hangar space be available, should we bring our own tie downs, etc?

Hangar space is very limited due to the number of school planes and large customer base. Short of a tornado our serious thunderstorm, you should expect to park on the ramp. No need to bring tie downs or ropes, we have plenty of both.

After looking at the short and long range forecast, Bill Williams and I have decided to forgo the pleasures of Lynchburg this time. We will be open to trying it again sometime.

We really appreciate the efforts of Scott Hinton and the Liberty team to host us. Thanks, Scott!

What say the rest of you? Press on or try to reschedule an agreeable time?

Scott,
I was just about to call you and still will but for the purposes of the forum ...

I think the best route here would be to cancel this weekend and try for another date. Considering the number expected to turnout, the weather and each of our personal responsibilities. This weekend just doesn't look like it's in the cards.

I cannot thank you enough for organizing and offering to host this event. It's a lot of work and if only one or two make it, it's just too much work to justify.

Once again thanks Scott!! (I'll give you call shortly)

Lee

No worries; I completely understand and agree with your thoughts. This weekend's fly-in is cancelled due to weather. Please consider this an open offer to host a future event. You're welcome anytime!

Thanks for your trouble Scott. Karen and I were working up to canceling anyway. We will try again someday.
