Anybody know of a short overall length HSI that
Will fit in a Thorp panel. 8.5 inches from panel to
gas tank.
Thanks,
Dave

Doesn't the Dynon D10 (or D10A I cant recall) have an HSI too? I think its right at 8", so it may be close.

Thanks,
Looks like the Dynon D10A would do the trick.
Wading through the manuals now to determine
All the parts required.
Thanks Again,
Dave

That's what I have, a Dynon D-10a. It fits with room to spare.
I put it in when the attitude indicator started growling at me.
:P

This is a little bit old, I was trying to figure out a way
to put some nav indicators in Mark Blanton's plane that I was really
close to buying. Sorry I let that one get away.

The Garmin G5 allows you to couple a nav or two to it. It is really a great deal for under $1200.00

Grand Rapids Avionics Mini not only makes for great HSI it can also double as an attitude indicator.
