Was the angle of attack on the old ones too low or too high? Dare I ask how you picked the centerline for angle of attack...front is easy...what about the rear?

It's hard to tell from the pics as they look about the same (pics were taken fom a diffent vantage point) but the old set used to fly nose down. It's purely an aesthetic thing, on the standard thorp wheel pants a 2x4 laid flat underneath the aft edge does the trick (and the Sam James set too as luck would have it).
