On the S 18, Drawing number 227 states that 1 cap 2x2x0.25 2014 T6 channel is required.
The drawing seems to show that it is 1.25x2x1.35x0.25.
Alcoa Die 892

I am a little confused as to the actual size that is to be ordered.

It is a machined piece. That’s why you see different dimensions.

Thanks Cubes for the prompt reply.
So it starts as a 2x2x2x.25 channel and both legs are machined to about 1.25. The outer one at the fitting end tapered.
Both machined full length to the reduced dimension
