After meeting David in Cushing and putting the airplane away, I decided to go home and get the lawn mower to take care of some things the city has been ignoring at the airport. Anyway, in the time it took me to go home, get a drink and a snack, and drive my little riding mower back to the airport, this snuck in on me:

I tinkered with a couple of projects at the airport to kill time but I had to return home before I could meet the pilot of the pretty bird.

very nice. It looks like there is no trim around the canopy.

I hadn’t noticed until you mentioned it but you are correct... no trim across the top of the windscreen or canopy. It has dual brakes and all of the flight instruments are on the right side of the panel. It looked capable of IFR flight.

I know that airplane well .. twas based in my neck of the woods for several years. I checked the new owner out in it last year. He got one heck of a deal on that airplane. 0-360, AD prop, stacked to the gills with toys in the panel. Plus some really slick cowl flaps.
