After 10 years of sitting in the back of my hangar, I am again working on my T18.
After a ground loop I decided to convert it to a nose wheel. This modification is now finished and I am finishing wing repairs.
The airplane has a 180 HP O-360-A1A. It was flying with a McCauley 74 inch constant speed prop. With the conversion, that prop is too long. I only have about 4 inches of clearance. I need suggestions and sources for prop solution. I am willing to go to a fixed pitch to save money. What is the recommended prop, either CS or fixed? Does anyone have a suitable sized prop that would be for sale?

Jerry, Tucson, AZ

You might call Catto. They make a three blade that I understand has shorter blades.

The tri-gear conversion was ok with the 72" Hartzell. Can think of 3 off the top of my head using that rig.
