After several months of painting, wiring, plumbing and glasswork I'm happy to announce that I've completed and delivered Wendell Green's bird back to him (this is his second delivery, the first was in 1989). She finally got the upgrade and going through she deserved and I can confidently say for all intents and purposes Wendell now has a brand new (40 year old) "Super T-18". The list is too long to include but in short ...

Converted from carb to fuel injection (tuned for 220hp)
Full Garmin suite installed, <2> G5, GNX-375, GTR-200, GMC 507 Autopilot
Electronics International GCR-30P/C installed
Interior repainted
Anything on the exterior that needed a 'refresh' was repainted.
Existing vacuum, primer, fuel system removed.
All engine instruments/sensors removed.
Full King stack and associated indicators removed.

We need to line up all of Lee's creations side by side at KOSH. How many blue/blue/white Walton planes are gonna be there? Mine will!

Ah but there's a red one out there as well ...

I'm in the process of rebuilding my 2021 project right now ... 'Puppy 2' ... the paint scheme and colors will diverge from my norm this time. Actually one of the best built T-18's I've ever seen. Stay tuned for the end result pics.

Meanwhile, N118BC got herself an avionics upgrade.
With thanks to Pacific Coast Avionics (Aurora State, Oregon, KUAO), here's what's new in Miss Thorp (see photo).
The green shows the visible stuff, brown is hidden from view.

Hey Phil,

How was the Cruze 110 install? Where did you buy it from? That item is going on my rebuild next year. I already have a spare 3" hole and the wires are run. Can you send me some pictures of your servos installed?
Thank you!
