Hello friends,

Sorry for the delay in passing on the information about a dear friend and Thorp owner for many years.

Ken Morgan of Pecan Plantation, Granbury, Texas passed away August 4 and he is certainty greatly missed. He was a member of our Thorp family who contributed a great deal as a mentor not only to me, but many others as Technical Advisor.

Services will be held Saturday, August 26 at the Acton Methodist Church. Your thoughts and prayers will greatly be welcomed to help guide him to be with his Lord and Savior.

Ah man. What a good guy. Always pitching in to help. This world just doesn’t make them like that anymore.

I haven’t monitored this forum for awhile…. so sorry to hear this, Don. I liked Ken a lot… he walked over and was the first person to greet us as Vicki & I were climbing out of the airplane at one of my first Thorp fly-ins, in 1992 - Sequoyah, OK. A lot of good memories. He was a great guy.
