Guys I'm loosing sleep over this one ... I'm considering going back to "t-18s arent touchy, they require talent" ... Afraid the rv comment may come across a little a$$holish ... Thoughts?

Glad you mentioned that.....FWIW, I agree - it's a little over the top - some of us fly with friends who built RVs. You have my vote for something positive.

I still like "The Best Fly the Best" - it's braggadocious, but not in yer face, sodaspeak.

Ditch the RV reference

Lee,

I agree, I would wear a shirt with the RV saying around the airport here, in fact it would be enjoyable to get my hangar mate (I wonder if the Maine Congress has made hangar mates legal yet)and other RV'ers here frothing, difference is we know each other. Conversely, I wouldn't feel as comfortable wearing one at OSH. (even though it's true)

A$$holeish, wow, I have been called lots of things, but no one has ever added an ish on the end of it....lets see....handsomeish, funnyish, creativeish, ok maybe I can live with that. I agree maybe I was a bit brazen, lets go with the stripped ass ape one. Wouldnt want to start a brawl at OSH...but if we did I would like to be next to Gary Green please.

How about putting the Thorp T-18 ambassador and the silhouette on the back and then list the top ten quotes on the front. That way you can see the persons reactions when they are reading them.

I suppose it would add to the cost though.

I'm mailing out the t-shirts for those that did not attend Oshkosh. At this point nearly all of you have sent payment. There are a few out there that have not. If you are on that list please take the time to mail me a check or submit payment via paypal (leewwalton@yahoo.com).
