John Kerr and RB are back at home base. John is still a little confused as to which control makes the plane go faster ? We flew up and back as a flight of 2 and loose cruise is now ops normal as John maintains at least a mile in trial. We'll work on that for the next road trip.

Dan and gloria (and the rest of the crew) did an outstanding job ! Best beef I've had in a long time and the beans were to kill for ! Cubes and Fraser are living proof ! Not quite sure how Hot Humid weather and a few cold beers can make everyone look younger ? I was sure Fraser had a younger Brother there, but is was just him after a few cold Coronas ! [:p]

Lee...I have about a dozen pics and I'll try and send a brief writeup ASAP.

I have/did do a writeup about the KVIS fly-in with pics from my Brownie Camera (yes I still have it along with the flash attachment). [:p] Dan also supplied some pics from the event (from a slightly newer camera) and I will forward them to Lee for the next Tiger Tales issue. [8D] Some photos have been edited for the PG-13 audience. My apology for making such a short appearance at the KVIS gathering. It was good to see familiar faces and great looking planes. I flew full throttle back to KSCK, hangered the plane, changed clothes, and made it to the wedding right on time. If it hadn't been a relative's wedding, I would have preferred Gloria's lunch.
Tom Hunter, always good to see you, thanks for the comments on the plane. Rich, glad to see your beautiful new plane. Fraser, go for the red, or red and polished aluminum.
Thanks Dan for bringing it all together.

Hi Terry, it was a pleasure to have you at KVIS. It took some effort for you to fit it into your schedule, and Im sure glad you made that wedding. We have already started talking about next year as this event really turned out very well. We could have done without the humid weather, but the turnout was great never the less and everyone had a good time. Next year I believe Mexican food is on the Menu!! Blue skies........Dan

Terry: Your plane looked outstanding, especially the cowling and the "eyeball" inlets ! Very clean look.

Whatever we do, wherever we do it, it has to involve Gloria's 5 Knot Frijoles - I really miss good mex food.

The 5 knot frijoles were built by none other than Missy Zermeeno, master Iras wife. Get prepared, between Missy Gloria & Mel you can best bet the menu for next year will be blazin......Blue skies Frase...Dan

Well you guys are welcome here anytime. Jes let me know so's I can be here.
I wanna say thanks to Danny and Ira for putting on such a great event. It was a gas. I wish I could have flown myself, but flying with Frase is always good for a laugh.
Thanks again
