To all of those who plan on attending the Spring Gathering in Fredericksburg June 8-10 I've finally arranged a block of rooms for us. I had originally intended on renting out a B&B like we had last Spring in NC but the simple fact is that the town is in high demand and none of the facilities could accommodate all of us. Those that tried to were just too high as far as rates go. I've reserved a block of 30 rooms at the Super 8 on Main St. They've been kind enough to give us a very good rate, the facility is very nice, right in the heart of town and yes (you know who you are) they have a continental breakfast!

Trust me $71.55 is a great deal in this town. It's a very popular place and they really have no need to bargin. For reference the Hotel on the airport is $179.00 per night and they wont even consider a group rate. The going rate per room at a B&B is $150-$200 per night. So all things considered I think we're getting off pretty good. Trust me you'll like the town, just bring your beer drinking, wine tasting, music listening and German Food eating shoes along!
