Once a flying plane, Now just a bare airframe with the fusealge stripped no motor or panel. Folding wings will be in my Hangar First week in april no room or time to complete and wife would kill me. Make offer trying to pass on a good deal.

Not to sure... It has "light corrosion" you can see in the pics. Scotch Bright takes it right off. Don't let that scare you. If I can get an offer around 5 it's gOne!!

My better half doesnt think i need another project. I Have a full time flying job If you call 150 hrs a year a full time job! but hey its salary!! Then ive got a MTC shop where i do 7-10 annuals a month. She says i have no time for another one and a child due in june! This is the reason its for sale cheap as i can get it!

You're so far away....
I've been stalking T/S-18s for many months.
I'm hot on the trail of a real nice T-18, and I'm finishing an RV-8.
Why am I even thinking about this????
OK, I know ahead of time that I'm a repeat offender. I'll be starting another homebuilt project when I get this one flying.
I don't fit in a Mustang II.
RV's are like belly buttons.
Thorps have the COOLEST looking nose and canopy. Nothing comes close.
Still, you are in Altlanta. How much farther could you be from Seattle, and there are quite a few Thorps around here.
Please don't destroy it. I made an offer on a local S-18 that offended the (deceased) builder's son, who said it was worth more as parts. I felt sorry, but he doesn't have the ability to salvage and sell it, so I wait for a counter offer in the coming months.... and I have enough projects already!

Go to Barnstormers, search ads "thorp"
One Josia Boone is looking for a metal airplane project and names Thorp as a prefered candidate.
He's offering up to $5000, which is right in your price point.
Email him, you might have your sale and saved a Thorp too!!!
Here's a link to the ad:
