I'm still in the market for a T18, I have looked a few just have not found the right one, is the 180 hp worth the extra cost, anyone have any info on N927as.

I have a 72 t18 w/0360 constant speed for sale 5 hrs sprop 760 smoh. Great plane. Ifr not cur. But in ann. 25,500 firm and well worth it......give me a call @ 217-497-7166 Greg..... Thanks

I have a sharp T18 w/mid time O360, fixed pitch wooden prop, new electric flap system, improved electric trim with stick switch , always well maintained, well built, ready to inspect, some assembly required. Willing to let go for $30K 519-396-5720.

I will join the party of T-18 advertisers: 1978 T-18, O-360, 10:1 pistons, Catto Prop, a hot rod, 385TT airframe, 100 SMOH done at end of 2010, along with new panel. Xcom radio and Microair transponder. Light at 915# empty. Leather seats, 2 axis Trutrak autopilot. 396 GPS in panel with weather & XM radio. Engine monitor system. VFR panel. Strobe, landing lights (with alternating flasher). A terrific cruiser. $42k/offer?. I may get into something STOL if I sell this, or I have a line on a nice Pitts S2 I would like to have.

Add another for sale. T18C, N921JK, 150 hp O-320 A2D. Built in '82, has 1105 hrs today. Hangared at KRIR in southern CA. Basic IFR with new pitot-static check. Empty weight 954#. Flight plan 140 KTAS, 7gph fuel burn. Starting the annual CI at the moment. Asking $31K.

I just got asked to be part of there flyby at the air show on Sept 29 cus "they had plenty of RV's but no T18's, having a Thorp would be cool".

Hi Guys,
I am the new owner of Davem's T18, by a stroke of luck I met Dave at Yolo County Airport and now find myself the owner of N18GR. Hoping it will be in Melbourne Australia in 3 weeks - can't wait.
I have always had a soft spot for the ThorpT18 . Dave has done all the hard work and I look forward to many hours of enjoyment flying around Victoria and the rest of Australia. I have spent many hours reading this excellent site and it confirms my decision was correct to buy a Thorp. Value for money and performance is outstanding I think.
I am also restoring a Bellanca Cruisair which I have owned for many years which flew to Australia in 1990 as part of a world vintage air rally from England to Australia. It is a long term project. They are also lovely aircraft to fly, but require constant love and attention. The Thorp will be a great little cross country machine.
Looking forward to catching up with some of the other Aussie Thorps. New Aus rego - VH VBF

As a new T-18 owner myself, I feel a need to add something here.
I bought a 1984 completed T-18, with only 267 total time. all log book entries were complimentary and everything looked grand, including what a saw as I did the condition inspection.
I did the first flight solo. No one seemed very interested, or available to fly a plane that had sat 9 years.
I did manage the first flight ok, tho- with a huge grin at the end and an adrenaline rush that Lasted nearly 2 hours!
I experienced a wicked stall with left wing drop during my first flight's air work. Looking back, I am beginning to think that the 9 year sit, in a hangar with an other plane, might have resulted in the left wing leading edge getting a bit of a squeeze when it was moved around.
If your ship is being disassembled and shipped to you, then I respectfully submit that the handling enroute may effect the handling of the plane in the air!
All is good with 883FF now, but for you, I just want to add that a bit of experience with this kind of plane, or some help from someone who has it is very worthwhile, I'm sure I would have been better off.
As for a T-18, I looked right past them to build an RV-8. What a mistake. RV's are fine too, but our T-18 is smooth riding, great handling and very efficient on only 135 HP. You will love yours, I'm sure.
I was drawn to answer your post when I saw you own a Bellanca, as I have one too. What a great plane. I fly the T -18 more!
