Cutting a hole in this area requires more than just cutting a hole, be it round or square. This is a carry through box for the tail feathers and requires a little more than just cutting a hole. There are approved methods to do this, rivets and rivet spacing, doublers, etc.

Good point Bill. Although I had planned on using doubler, I hadnt given proper thought to the area where I would be cutting.
