I thought I had inexplicably become more enthusiastic in all things Thorp related, that explains it. Now you can go back to being yourself. Got the new mixture cable and started installing it this evening, will finish over the weekend. As always the ky dam experience left me with more ideas for projects than I have time for.

aircraft spruce A-730 glide free control with the plastic liner. put a wire grip on the end with a heim type bearing and bolt through the mixture arm. Works extremely smoothly and added a light spring just in case. Just got it back together this evening, hopefully a test flight ater work tomorrow.

I found these control cables to heat up and the plasic lining melt and seize. I have three of them under my workbench now, don't know why I keep them other than as mockups. Some people don't have problems, others do. Cable Craft makes the best and Florida Hydralics in Jacksonville will make them up and have them to you in a couple of days.
