Does CSA (or anyone else) sell exhaust pipe fairings? I am hoping to find something pre-made that would clean-up the area where my exhaust pipes exit the bottom cowl.

Newsletters and/or elsewhere on the this site (or the old one.) I remember some great photos where the fellow stuffed the flat stock through a slot in a piece of plywood and trimmed it later. Dick Penman may also have written an article on something similar back in the day. I vaquely remember a sketch.

I wrapped a piece of .032 around a 2 1/2" PVC, bent ears with a brake and riveted them on the Aluminum cowl

The fiberglass set I got from CSA fit just fine . I did not mount them on the surface of the cowl . I made a cut out and glassed them in flush . ??? A lot of work for a guy that has little work working with the slime ! :P

Bill and Lee make it seem so easy that I would be ashamed to admit whether I will make my own or buy a set from CSA.....but I really should help support CSA....thanks for all the info.

We need to support our Vendors! Back when I bought the fiberglass fairings , I think they were $8.00 each ? That was a while ago , but I consider that a bargain not having to make a mold , lay the glass , mix the goo and do layer upon layer . My time is worth more than that and by the time I buy the supplies the cost is not that much different . Some parts I could do with regard to the AC and others I left to the Vendors .
