I have a Lycoming 0-290 I bought about 3 years ago with no log books that I would like to sell. It has flown for about 150 hours since I have had it, and there were no problems with it, but I could not get comfortable not knowing the history of the engine. The man I bought it from in Seattle told me it had 1.1 hours on it Since Major Overhaul when I bought it but I don't know who did the overhaul, or to what standards. Unknown total time. No data plate (that's the way I got it). Engine comes with carburetor, 2 magnetos, ignition harnesses, oil cooler, spark plugs and a 4" prop extension. It came to me with a vacuum pump but I removed it. I believe it works but I am not sure. I will throw that in the sale too if I can find it.
I do have the telephone number and email address of the man who sold me the engine. I will provide that to the buyer, but I don't believe he will have any more information than I am giving here. He was selling the engine for his father, who had fallen ill.
Buyer can pick it up or pay for shipping. My zip code is 71115.
